We initially contacted Four Directions Home Repair after seeing the business through Facebook. Randy promptly came to our home to give us an estimate on our proposed back porch. He was very polite and respectful, and he made every attempt to explain what he felt was a good design for us.
After a few days, he provided us with a sketch of the porch. We provided our input, the contract was drawn up, and start dates were provided.
It took about one month to complete this big project. Each day, as the sun did its very best to make life miserable, Randy pushed through without missing a beat. I was impressed by his precision, since he checked the quality of lumber and returned crooked or damaged lumber rather than using it.
He did not accept mistakes. He would immediately fix the issue and continue on knowing it was right and worthy of his high standards.
In close, we are immensely satisfied with our new back porch, and everyone just raves about it. I would certainly use his talent again.

I have had the pleasure of doing business with Randy Childress of Four Directions. I have hired Randy twice in the last two years.
Last year he replaced my pool deck flooring. It is a very large deck that goes around my round pool with a decking area for chairs. This year he replaced the railing around the deck.
He does a wonderful job. Both my deck floor and railings look beautiful. He is amazingly fast and extremely competent.
Before he started the job, he informed me exactly what he was planning on doing so I knew exactly how things would look. The completed jobs looked exactly how he explained to me.
I will use Randy again next time I have any projects that need completing. I also recommend him to anyone who has carpentry needs. Randy is professional yet friendly and was a joy to have in my home.

I contacted Four Directions Home Repair in early October. Randy scheduled a time to look at the proposed repairs and improvements, and came to see us at exactly the time we had agreed upon.
He provided an estimate shortly thereafter, and upon agreement to the terms we entered into a contract.
He was helpful in telling us what permits we needed for the job and explained each step of the process. He was on the job every day he said he would be, and he was very clean and tidy with his job site.
We were extremely happy with the work. We had no surprises, no extra costs, and were left with no debris and a lovely porch.
He says what he will do, and then does what he says. We would definitely call on him again when we have a need for these type services.
